A recent offer.
Last Saturday morning, I fired up the ol’ internet machine and checked the Fake Criterions email account. There was a message from someone at the Paris boutique Colette, saying that they were having some movie-art-themed exhibition in May and were wondering if I’d like to send any covers along.

The dog in the opening was trained to specifically destroy Godzilla dolls. They shipped the dog onto the set at the price of $20,000 a day. They had to hold cardboard boxes up in front of the Godzilla dolls to keep the dog from destroying them until it was time. Bay also notes that, as a rule, you “never kill a dog”.
