See You Next Wednesday [1968]
What is this? This is announcing the theme for the month of May.
Fake movies. Movies that have been in movies and tele-vision programs that don’t exist. Movies they’re always seeing in Seinfeld. The films of Tracy Jordan. Fiction within fiction, circles within squares, WE ARE THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS, PEOPLE.
It’s Double Fakeout Fake Criterions Month.
Go- research, look around, then post them to Tumblr tagged “Fake Criterions” or email them to fakecriterions[at]gmail.com.
We may not be able to post them all, but we will do a fair number of them. And you have a whole month, because there’s a lot of fake movies out there. Though, weirdly, there’s no huge Wikipedia list that I can find. What’s up with that?
